Allan Robertson (Chairman)

Allan worked in the further education sector for many years. He lives with his wife and two daughters in the south side of Glasgow. Allan previously was Scottish Manager for CMT, a position he held for five years. He has been involved in the work of men’s ministry for over ten years and is keen to see partnerships formed between CMT and other para-church organisations.

Stephen McQuoid

Stephen has a passion for mission including outreach to men. He lives with his wife and family in Lanarkshire. He is currently Director of GLO (Gospel Literature Outreach) based in Motherwell, although his work frequently takes him to other parts of the UK and abroad. Stephen is a Bible teacher and author of a number of books. His most recent book “A Bloke’s Guide to walking with Jesus” offers lots of practical guidance to men as they seek to live out their Christian faith.

Al Lightbody

Al lives with his wife and family in Lenzie and serves as an elder in a local church. He works for the Inland Revenue but he asks us not to hold that against him. Al has been involved in a range of outreach activities over the years and has a strong interest in men’s ministry. He is really keen to see Christian men become more involved in church life and for them to reach out to their friends and colleagues with the good news of Jesus.

Dr Paul Tarrant

Paul is a family man and has been a Family Doctor in the West of Scotland now for 30 years. He is involved in many aspects of Christian service and has travelled extensively on missions consultancy work. He has a particular interest in Church planting and Discipleship making and his recent Power Walking for Disciples series of papers provide an invaluable tool for all who desire a closer walk with God. He lists his favourite movies as City of Joy and Entrapment and enjoys a wide variety of music, from classical to modern worship songs. Not surprisingly his favourite book is The Bible!

Alan Orr

Allan lives in East Renfrewshire, is married to Annette and they have three boys. After a successful business career Alan now runs his own Company which builds and maintains websites for many different organisations. He has a particular desire to help Church and Christian Charities and has already been a great help to CMT with our Website and also in organising a series of Webinars.
